The Midwest Faceters Guild was established July 14th, 1979. The MWFG is a member of American Federation of Mineralogical Societiesm and the Midwest Federation of Mineralogical and Geological Societies. Our purpose is:
- To promote education and recreation
- To develop the art of faceting
- To exchange information related to faceting
- To provide meeting for those of like interests
- To promote the achievement of individuals
The official publication of the Midwest Faceters Guild is The Midwest Faceter, which is mailed to members five times a year.
