About Us

The Midwest Faceters's Guild is a group of people with a shared interest in the Art of Faceting. As the name would suggest most of our members live in the midwest, but we welcome anyone interested in faceting regardless of where they live.

We conduct two seminars per year where we offer faceting instruction for beginners and more experienced faceters. Our members also frequently demonstrate faceting at various rock and mineral shows to promote the craft. We also occasionally have gatherings that we call Faceters' Frats so our members can get together with other faceters and talk faceting, see what other people are cutting and what they're using to cut it, and just generally have a good time faceting together.

The Guild publishes a newsletter five times a year. This newsletter contains articles of interest to faceters and normally a couple of patterns.
