The Midwest Faceters' Guild was established in July 1979. The MWFG is a member of the American Federation of Mineralogical Societies and the Midwest Federation of Mineralogical and Geological Societies. Our mission is:

To promote education and recreation
To develop the art of faceting
To exchange information related to faceting
To provide meetings for those of like interests
To promote the achievement of individuals

Membership in the Midwest Faceters' Guild is open to everyone interested in faceting, regardless of geographical location.
